The Confederation of Labour of Russia (KTR) was established at the founding congress in Moscow on April 12, 1995.

The Confederation of Labour of Russia has 14 member organizations. KTR member organizations cover the transport and manufacturing sectors of the economy, education, health and culture, and the service sector.

The Confederation of Labor of Russia cooperates with authorities and employers within the framework of the national social dialogue.
